SUMMARY:#275: Cum SOC's Frascott Frolic
DESCRIPTION:What a run / walk!!! \nGreat territory through the Varsity Lakes Wetlands and beyond.  A technically challenging trail as technically speaking we had no idea where we were going\, that in theory was 6km long but because of the record number of on backs was in fact 9.4km………I should know\, I did them all. \nWell done to the hare (Cum SOC) for a huge effort in finding so much bush in the urban jungle including an island sojourn (well we were promised a circular run…) that the runners really appreciated and didn’t complain about what so ever…… \nIn the circle Derrolicked my Balls scored the run an A for effort and an F for what I assume stood for F$ckin awesome or in the decimal system a 6.9. Ballbag’s enthralling walkers report went on so long I nodded off and missed the score but I think he really liked it… \nThe usual spiteful and vindictive charges were then laid and just when we thought the night was wrapping some of the greatest crimes in Covid Rehash history was solved with the down down vessel of Derrolicked my Balls\, Ballbag’s tea cup and Baaah Sinisters stubby holder all mysteriously appearing in a nearby shopping trolley. Whodunit we may never know but they definitely have an engraving kit!! \nWell done to the hare for the top nosh and another great night of hash. Next week we do it all again with the Double Trouble run as Y2KY Jelly and Derrolicked my Balls join forces to guide us through the swamplands of Coombabah.

SUMMARY:#256: Smokey's Gone With The Wind
DESCRIPTION:A very late contender for Run of the Year (ROTY) and the Karen Pini with 3.7km of pure bush bashing torture up Water Tower Hill.  Despite the hare being pulled into an emergency body corporate meeting somehow the pack managed to keep together and follow the trail up\, down and back around to Smokie’s with no complaints whatsoever. \nThe real hero of the night however was Parmy Tuesday at Club Helensvale (despite the hare’s arrangements\, the Kiwi Fush & Chups shop was in fact…..shut) followed by the circle in the car park where the usual spiteful and vindictive charges were laid followed by WTFAI being drawn as the winner of the raffle which in a really weird co-incidence was a book about his home town\, Vancouver. At that exact moment club security decided to kill the car park lights just in time to save us from another re-telling of how bad ref calls robbed the Canucks of both the 1994 & 2011 Stanley Cup’s and the resulting riots. \nhttps://covidhhh.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Covid-256.mp4

DESCRIPTION:https://covidhhh.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Covid-148.mp4 \nWhat a great night of hash. For the first time in ages someone got lost and was awarded Covidiot of the week. Most surprisingly the hasher in question was not Ballbag…. Turned out Eno was enjoying the trail so much he decided to do 2 laps of the course despite being only 20 metres from home first time round (Relive Eno’s run below). \nWith Eno clearly shaken we did what any good kennel would do and charged him with multiple offences dispensed from a dog bowl…. It really was Eno’s night with the RA (aka Jelly) then numbering him (XIV) followed by winning the much sought after raffle. \n  \nThe run score was surprisingly low at -5\,003 but with a 5\,000 point bonus awarded to the hare for retrieving a lost runner a respectable -3 was confirmed. The walkers awarded a 7.5 for their trail despite not following one inch of the flour laid for them (God only knows where they went). All in all\, a great Mardi Gras run hosted by the committee……just don’t mention the onions.
