SUMMARY:#307: Nerangatangs in the Mist aka The Peugeot Run

Run #307\, eloquently dubbed the “Peugeot”\, took us back into the dark and edgy abyss of the forest trails. \nOur hare for the evening was Derro\, who set both a walkers and runners trail using paper and a modest sprinkle of flour. He even managed to arrange a quick downpour for us. This was a godsend really\, as Pepe le Spew finally got his much-needed annual rinse. The trail featured a drink start and a drink stop. Given Derro is a legendary alcoholic\, this is entirely expected; the bloke probably downed a few cold ones while stumbling through the bush to set the trail in the first place. That would probably explain why the trail was all over the place.We had a solid turnout of degenerates including our very own portable battery pack\, Miscarriage. \nSome notable highlights from the darkness:Our supposedly elite front-running bastard Pepe le Spew couldn’t keep up with Cum Soc and the fresh young contender\, Tristan. Pepe served up the usual spew of pathetic excuses at the end but none of us bought a word of it. Frankly\, there is a glue factory out there with his name on it.Fresh Meet got his 100 run tshirt and an all you can eat Bacon Sandwich. WTFAI after all his whining got his 50th run keyring which is the only trophy the Canadians got … sad Hash isn’t their national sport\, oh wait\, they would suck at that too. And Ballbags got his 150th run keyring – now if he can only find his keys to put it on. \nPost-run\, Derro proved he might actually have a redeeming quality. The meal he prepared was arguably good enough to rival the so-called “Gourmet Hash” – otherwise known as The Walking Dead – but it was $5 bucks cheaper! A massive win for the wallet and the tastebuds. \nOf course\, it wouldn’t be a normal night without some Monday night propaganda. Miscarriage\, wouldn’t shut up about the Monday night Hash. He spent half the night boasting that he was the only one who actually ran their 9.5km trail. Let’s be real here\, TWD can barely manage a 950m shuffle so who knows if a run was even set. Plus\, we have to question if that 9.5km was measured in actual grown-up steps; considering Miscarriage takes three strides for every normal adult step\, the maths is highly suspect. \nNot to be outdone in the whining department\, Ballbags carried on about our apparent lack of support for the Monday night crew along with some other unintelligible rumblings. He was promptly and ruthlessly shut down by the pack. \nNext week we do it all over again from Rotoract ParkEno is the hare and as he knows fuck all chances are there will be fuck all. But – there will be badly cut onions and white bread.OnON

SUMMARY:#283: Derro's Birthday Run
DESCRIPTION:https://covidhhh.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Covid-283.mp4 \nVirtually\, a great run over 5.4km / 1hr 16min which was slowed down significantly by pre-drinks\, a planned drinks stop and one on root (never leave your car keys with the GM) thanks to Derrolicked my Balls (hare) and his Birthday slab of Boags. \nAs the beers flowed so did the piss stops as this young kennel started to show its age but that didn’t stop the celebrations as we honoured Captain Eno with his 100th run and becoming our first and only member of the Arachnophobia Athletic Club followed closely by the man who had cum 200 times first\, Derrolicked my Ballls. Well done fellas\, on achieving such awesome Covid Re-Hash milestones. \nAs for the run\, well that was scored a 6.9 by Pepe Le Spew and a 10 for the walk by WTFAI but we all agreed listening to Derro talk for an hour surely required a discount so a combined 6.9 a was recorded. \nIn the circle the usual spiteful and vindictive charges were laid followed by the raffle which in surprising twist was won by the birthday boy. Derro was delighted with his anal cushion as apparently; he has a bad case of Haemorrhoids at the moment followed by a moving rendition of Hashi-birthday. The homemade birthday fudge cake was a real winner until the hare thought the penis shaped candle was a butt plug resulting in stinky fudge which seemed to arouse Eno F&ck All. \nIn late breaking sports news Liverpool won (again) courtesy of a last-minute penalty and according to Pepe & Eno there was a rugby game but I’m not sure who won and by how much coz as of last weekend I no longer watch the stupid motherf&ckin game. \nAll up another great night of hash put on by Derrolicked my Balls. Next week we do it all again with Pepe Le Spew guiding us around even more virgin bush in Ashmore.

A thinking man’s run my arse but let’s face it the warning signs were there early…..I mean there was still no meeting point communicated (apparently there’s a Covid Re-Hash website with all that kind of information on it) nor attendance poll on the WhatsApp at 11.55am on the day of the run but thank God for Arsenic (you don’t hare that often) for calling it out so we could get this shit show on the road. \nAt the run start clear instructions from the hare (Y2KY Jelly) announced “the run markings start on the left” but apparently it was a matter of perspective as to how accurate that statement actually was but once finally on trail the meander through the swampland shiggy commenced ……with the walkers taking the lead!!! \nWith more checks than a Prague brothel and believe it or not a new Covid Re-Hash record (beating last week) number of on backs (both quantity & distance) I think it’s fair to say the hare was in fact lost whilst setting the trail. \nSomehow we stumbled back to the on after 9.54km worse for wear and 1hr 23min of our lives that we’ll never get back but at least we all made it out safe and sound…….well almost….. as our favourite large footed\, and I assume well hung\, returning Cambodian/Aussie butcher cum taxi driver cum property developer cum lawyer cum comedian hash man\, Mis-carriage\, managed to get a root on the run resulting in few broken ribs ….but hey it least his full frontal body slam prevented any further injury to his preferred wanking hand. \nBack in the circle the walkers were clearly still delirious from briefly leading the pack and scored it a generous 6.9 but the runners really let rip taking advantage of the Sergeants new scoring mechanism resulting in a more appropriate -6.9 for the run followed by the usual spiteful and vindictive charges. \nSpecial mention for the nosh and on after set up put on by the co-hare (Derrolicked my Balls)…it’s been so long since we’ve had sausages in bread that they actually tasted bloody fantastic and well done to Eno for winning the coveted raffle prize (I’ve always thought Good Girls do Swallow) and the resulting cock funnel down down. \nGreat effort by the co-hares for putting on such a great night of hash\, in fact it was so good next weeks hare (Arsenic) has decided to set the run from the very same swampland for the T&A Run.

Next week we do it all again with the Reconciliation Day run from the traditional lands of the Yugambeh nation (aka Tom Rose Park) where Pepe Le Spew will be guiding us around some of his favourite bits of virgin bush.

SUMMARY:#250: Burleigh Bush Bash
DESCRIPTION:Well it only took 250 runs but finally a hare worked out how to set a f%ckin great bush trail\, piss stop and nosh. Well done to Derrolicked my Balls for all the effort planning and setting the run (apparently all his hours spent in the Burleigh bush had nothing to do with his Mother-in-Law being in town). \nHowever\, despite the GM’s best laid plans somehow Arsenic managed to go to the wrong run location (Tom Rose) with a rice cooker full of ……….uncooked rice. Suffice to say our first “Dickhead of the Week” was duly awarded.  Back on the trail the runners slipped and slided for 6.7km before scaring the shit out of the particpants doing the pub quiz at the Burleigh Town Hotel. To the runners utter shock and surprise the navigationally challeged walkers managed to turn up in time for a round of drinks to celebrate Tommy Two Strokes re-naming (and birthday). \nBack at the circle the usual spiteful and vindicative charges were laid followed by a moving ceremony as we finally numbered Where The Fuck Am I (#22). Next week we do it all again with our latest member setting the trail and sorting out the nosh (expect Poutain and Beaver Tails). \nOnOn

Despite incorporating three (3) piss stops of high-quality booze that everyone enjoyed\, and no one complained about the run scored a surprisingly low 56. Turns out in the absence of the RA we forgot most of the run scoring categories and unfortunately “Where the F&ck am I” did in fact manage to crawl home after a solo 11.2km / 3hr epic denying the hares of extra bonus points. \nIn the circle Y2KY Jelly got into the spirit of the occasion leading the first ever 200-minute circle with a special mention to Fresh Meat for his never ending catering related charges. Thanks to all our many visitors for making our landmark run an unforgettable night. \n  \nNext week (Wednesday) we celebrate International Woman’s Day with the Red Dress Run starting from Federation Park\, Broadbeach. DESCRIPTION:Well\, it only took 161 runs to work it out but finally a hare (Derrolicked my Balls) managed to lay a waterproof trail which defeated the 130mm of rain.  Literally a well-crafted trail with paper mache markings and checks taking us to all corners of the forest with the best-ever quality piss-stop (Fireball shots). Thanks to the weather we were also able to incorporate a couple of creek swims to the delight of Arsenic who brought along his snorkelling gear\, but his spirits were soon dampened upon the discovery of leeches on his face upon arrival back at the circle (see photo). \nDespite not running the RA (Eno) turned up to gloat about the magnificent weather he had put on. He was in such a hurry to cum he forgot the run scoring mechanism and with our fearless leader still in Darwin grabbing grannies we were forced to improvise resulting in a run score of 10 out of 12. The evening was rounded off with not only sausages and white bread but ONIONS!!! to boot and the circle closed with the resolution that B#llpoint (I didn’t name him) was in fact still a c&nt.

Most surprisingly the hasher in question was not Ballbag…. Turned out Eno was enjoying the trail so much he decided to do 2 laps of the course despite being only 20 metres from home first time round (Relive Eno’s run below). \nWith Eno clearly shaken we did what any good kennel would do and charged him with multiple offences dispensed from a dog bowl…. It really was Eno’s night with the RA (aka Jelly) then numbering him (XIV) followed by winning the much sought after raffle. \n  \nThe run score was surprisingly low at -5\,003 but with a 5\,000 point bonus awarded to the hare for retrieving a lost runner a respectable -3 was confirmed. The walkers awarded a 7.5 for their trail despite not following one inch of the flour laid for them (God only knows where they went). All in all\, a great Mardi Gras run hosted by the committee……just don’t mention the onions.

DESCRIPTION:Well\, it would have been run / shuffle of the year baaaah the RA going a bit over the top with the rain. Concerns about king tides and our cars being swept away into the Nerang River meant there was only one thing to do………….head to Derro’s. As tradition dedicates Ballbag got lost ……….parking his car. With no run to prove our athletic abilities we were forced to show were our real talents lie. During a lively circle Ballbag shared a video from his days with the Darwin HHH which explains how he got named and unsurprisingly Cum Smoke was award 2022 Athlete of the Year (see photo).\nA big thanks to Derro for the last-minute hosting of the on after and the delicious Chinese banquet. Despite breaking every rule of the Pool / BBQ area apparently the resort management will welcome us back anytime….
