SUMMARY:#302: Jelly’s Jolly
DESCRIPTION:Jesus Christ. When will we learn. Jelly…..live hare……what the f&ck!!!!   \nNo surprise then that we went hare\, there and everywhere in what can only be described as one of most random runs in the history of the Covid Re-Hash. \nIt became apparent early on as we ascended the biggest f&ckin hill in the forest that the outlook for the rest of the run was bleak. With half the pack returning or virgin runners the second helpings of Christmas pudding where looking like a big mistake but we managed to press on through the clouds. \nFatigued\, disoriented and frankly smelling like a Bangkok sewer from all the sweat it became abundantly clear our navigationally challenged hare was in fact lost as he pointed in the direction of Pac Pines and declared “on on”. \nThe mutiny was brutal yet swift but absolutely necessary as common sense prevailed as we descended in the general direction of Tom Rose. \nSome say a 3hr 32min / 8km run was a bit on the long side but as it turns out everybody had lost the capacity to speak through the damage to their lungs due to the high attitudes experienced but somehow we managed to have a circle thanks to the medicinal benefits of Tun Mid. A generous 6.9 was awarded by Cum SOC for the torture trail and somehow Ballbag’s awarded a 8.4 for the walk resulting in\, if my math’s are correct\, an overall score of 6.9 being recorded. \nThe usual spiteful and vindictive charges then followed with the SKOL-A-RAMA 3000 put to good use on the returning and virgin runners\, followed by a shoey for Tristian and Baaah because Baaaah failed to advise Tristian not to wear new shoes. The injustices to all round good bloke and top hash man………Baaaaah Sinister\, continued as somehow he ended up on the ice. \nThe evening ended with a delightful vegan inspired Lasagna straight from the soon to be released “Fruits of the Forest” cookbook by Erin Pattinson. \nWell done Jelly for a memorable evening of hash. Next week we’re heading to Arsenic’s for his belated birthday run and a catch up with Ellen at the bottlo followed by a slide show of the Titley family road trip. \nOn On🐑😈 \n

SUMMARY:#287: Thanksgiving Day (Canada)
DESCRIPTION:8 for the walk + 12 for the run = 20 divided by 2 = a perfect 10. By my reckoning that means it was Run of the Year and congratulations to Y2KY Jelly (hare). \nIf only it was that simple. Turns out the sergeant went crazy with his discounting calculator deducting points for a lack of bush\, GC 500 route\, its perfect timing (1hr 00min 00sec)\, idyllic on after setting\, length (8km)\, fake tits on the run\, not enough shopping malls traversed but it would appear the biggest crime was a combination of running past six Irish bars\, running through the Surfers Paradise surf club but worst of all\, popping into Cocksucker Cowboys but not managing to get a round in !!! All this meant a very thirsty kennel discounted 3.1 from the original score resulting in a 6.9 being recorded. \nIn the circle the usual spiteful and vindictive chargers were laid\, and we discovered the true meaning of “Meat at the Fire station”. Despite the councils attempts to spoil our fun with their 8pm BBQ power outage the Thanksgiving feast was saved by our new friends from the local English language school and their portable tabletop Gasmate. Unfortunately\, we could not fit the Turkey on it but (luckily?) the hare had also brought some (delicious?) vegetarian patties\, so we dined on maple syrup inspired Canuck Burgers instead. \nThe super excited winner of the raffle was Ballbag’s. Known for his generosity he immediately shared his “bag of balls” with the birthday girl from the school but I’m not sure what he did with the raffle prize. \nThanks to the hare for another great night of hash. Next week we do it all again with Cum SOC’s looking to redeem himself with the Diwali Run.

A thinking man’s run my arse but let’s face it the warning signs were there early…..I mean there was still no meeting point communicated (apparently there’s a Covid Re-Hash website with all that kind of information on it) nor attendance poll on the WhatsApp at 11.55am on the day of the run but thank God for Arsenic (you don’t hare that often) for calling it out so we could get this shit show on the road. \nAt the run start clear instructions from the hare (Y2KY Jelly) announced “the run markings start on the left” but apparently it was a matter of perspective as to how accurate that statement actually was but once finally on trail the meander through the swampland shiggy commenced ……with the walkers taking the lead!!! \nWith more checks than a Prague brothel and believe it or not a new Covid Re-Hash record (beating last week) number of on backs (both quantity & distance) I think it’s fair to say the hare was in fact lost whilst setting the trail. \nSomehow we stumbled back to the on after 9.54km worse for wear and 1hr 23min of our lives that we’ll never get back but at least we all made it out safe and sound…….well almost….. as our favourite large footed\, and I assume well hung\, returning Cambodian/Aussie butcher cum taxi driver cum property developer cum lawyer cum comedian hash man\, Mis-carriage\, managed to get a root on the run resulting in few broken ribs ….but hey it least his full frontal body slam prevented any further injury to his preferred wanking hand. \nBack in the circle the walkers were clearly still delirious from briefly leading the pack and scored it a generous 6.9 but the runners really let rip taking advantage of the Sergeants new scoring mechanism resulting in a more appropriate -6.9 for the run followed by the usual spiteful and vindictive charges. \nSpecial mention for the nosh and on after set up put on by the co-hare (Derrolicked my Balls)…it’s been so long since we’ve had sausages in bread that they actually tasted bloody fantastic and well done to Eno for winning the coveted raffle prize (I’ve always thought Good Girls do Swallow) and the resulting cock funnel down down. \nGreat effort by the co-hares for putting on such a great night of hash\, in fact it was so good next weeks hare (Arsenic) has decided to set the run from the very same swampland for the T&A Run.

SUMMARY:Run 187: Death Wish II Redux
DESCRIPTION:Well\, it looks like we can add mountaineering to our list of activities….. \nThe run and walk lived up to its billing as we all agreed we wished we were dead after crawling up the north face of Everest Junior and it’s 186m sheer vertical elevation. After finally hitting the ridge line things only got worse for the runners with the hare (our most esteemed GM\, Y2KY Jelly) pulling out the Uno cards which all but confirmed their fate…… \nLost\, hungry and thirsty and with no possible way back down the root they had just traversed the walkers got lucky and choose right to safety exiting the bush 1 hour later covering a total of 2 km…….Yes that’s right\, we managed 2 km/h (hash record beating Smokie’s previous mark) N.B. special thanks to Pepe Le Spew for rescuing us in his car otherwise we would have died. \nBack at the circle a run score of 63 was recorded followed by the usual cruel and vindicative charges laid primarily at the hare for all his wrong doings. He did however redeem himself with what appeared to be and tasted like real meat sausages for the nosh followed by an emotional presentation of the 100 run commemorative t-shirts\, to Ballbags and all-round top bloke Baaaah Sinister.

Who would have thought that a pack of UNO cards would result in the best run I’ve been on for at least the last couple of months….. \nWell done to the hare (GM Jelly) for endangering our lives and a special mention for his placement of the killer brown snake at the beginning of the trail and the less venomous echidna later-on. After a 45-minute loop that took us to parts of the forest we had never seen before we found ourselves back were we started………in the middle of nowhere. Luck however was on our side as we drew the right sequence of cards to take us directly on home just in time for a lively circle where a run score of 79 was awarded and we learnt much about the latest offerings from The Bulldog Hotel in Amsterdam. \n “Ninja wake up calls are only available as part of the Bulldog hotel holiday romance package. Details of this service are available behind the water tank in the ladies toilet on the 2nd floor. If you are interested in this offer\, please bring two passport-sized photos\, details of your measurements on the back of a small envelope\, and the results of a recent HIV test.” \n

SUMMARY:Run #155: Torture Trail
DESCRIPTION:What a run……..or more accurately what a bush bashing\, crawl and bum slide. A real epic with plenty of claret spilt over the 8km of pure unadulterated torture which took 5hr 26min to complete. \nOnce again\, the failings of the run scoring mechanism were there for everyone to see with a 68 recorded as it was agreed the hare (our beloved GM\, Y2KY Jelly) may have f#cked us this time\, but we all owe him one. \nAs you can imagine the hare was immediately iced for his crimes with the usual vindictive and spiteful charges following. The evening closed with the hares second attempt on our lives via a Vegetarian Caribbean Stew. All jokes aside a huge effort by Y2KY Jelly which will never be forgotten (wish we could) by those who were there. \nNext Tuesday\, with a bit of luck\, Arsenic will be setting the Easter Beer Hunt run back in the forest.

DESCRIPTION:Crikey\, what a night. Steve would have been so proud. The hare (Y2KY Jelly) set what we thought was an excellent run only to discover in the circle (I know\, who would have thought) 15 other runners who we never saw on our trail but were claiming they also followed “trail” all over The Spit. After many charges and down downs\, we realised what had gone wrong. Turns out the hare’s clear instructions of follow the chalk\, toilet paper and chad missed on important point. DESCRIPTION:Great run last night. A very technical course. In fact It was so technical not only did the hare (Y2KY Jelly) get lost during the run but so did our favourite front running bastard\, Pepe Le Spew\, at the end of the run. We would have gone out searching for him but we were too busy adhering to local council by-laws (see photo). \n  \nA nice long run (7.71km / 67min) which was enjoyed by all but unfortunately because the run went for over an hour and we missed an obvious piss stop (Southport Surf Club) it was decided not to score the run. Y2KY Jelly got his revenge by covertly attempting to turn us vegetarian (mushrooms hamburgers)
