SUMMARY:#258: The New Regime
DESCRIPTION:Well\, our greatest fears have been realised. The tyrannical reign of Fresh Meat has begun and as threatened for the first time the Covid Rehash now has a book of rules\, by-laws and tariffs for the primary benefit of the new GM. \nClearly the new regime had been taking advise from Jelly as the circle broke all-time records with an unusually high number of spiteful and vindictive charges laid primarily related to crimes from the AGPU. \nThank God Arsenic saved the night (you don’t hear that often) with his fine selection of vintage Tun Lights\, Cock Funnel and run scoring mechanism (someone bring a lighter next week) resulting in a 69 being awarded to the hare. \nIn a moving ceremony the new committee members were anointed with the Skol-a-Rama 3000 being put to good use followed by a Sausage Feast\, moist Chocolate Cake and Tawny Port worthy of the inaugural night under the new dicktatorship. \nDespite rumours of a new Covid Rehash v2.0 starting up next Tuesday we do it all again with Arsenic guiding us around another bit of bush somewhere on the coast for the Easter Beer Hunt. \nhttps://covidhhh.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Covid-258.mp4

DESCRIPTION:https://covidhhh.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Covid-259.mp4 \nWhen the Hare finally arrived\, fashionably late\, and after plenty of pissing and moaning\, the GM finally showed up and we were underway. \nArsenic took the trail to new heights\, we started the incline\, then we ran up another hill\, then came another rise to what we thought was the pinnacle\, then came 64 more hills. After plenty of cursing we finally levelled out and began a the very steep road home. \nWe were graciously interrupted by a cold and frothing reward for our efforts (and they weren’t even Tuns). \nAfter a Jelly length circle\, which included the inauguration of our new RA- Ballbags\, we dined out on a chicken and chorizo dish with a side of inseminated rice (or was it germinated??? I can’t quite remember)

SUMMARY:#260: Anzac Day Run
DESCRIPTION:What better way to honour the spirit of the ANZACs than with a splash of rum & milk pre-run\, Last Post on the speaker\, and a ragtag bunch of blokes trotting around Nerang forest in the dark? That’s exactly what went down this week\, kicking off from Brookfield Court. \nBaaah Sinister was our hare for the night—though judging by the number of times he hit the deck\, you’d think he was auditioning for Swan Lake.  \nThe trail? Seven scenic k’s of winding bushland\, punctuated by a few close calls. Derrolicked almost cuddled up with a snake (luckily the snake had better places to be)\, and Fresh Meat put on a show\, slipping and squealing like his dignity was on the line—which\, frankly\, it was. Pepe Le Spew was out the front as the FRB (Front Running Bastard)\, though I swear he’d sold his soul for that sort of pace. \nTime on trail? A respectable 1 hour and 23 minutes\, though it felt longer if you had Baaah Sinister falling over in front of you every 200 metres. \nScores on the doors: \nRun: 6.969 (rounding not allowed here) \nWalk: 9.69 (because the walkers always reckon they’ve done it tougher) \nBack at the circle\, the Down Downs flowed thick and fast. Plenty of charges were dished out—some for genuine offences\, most for just showing up. Special mention to Baaah Sinister for losing\, and then finding\, his long-lost drinking vessel—lost a year ago and planted by Fresh Meat\, who sneakily engraved it and buried it like some sort of demented treasure hunt. Poetic stuff. \nNosh was top-notch: Turkish lamb kebabs with fresh salad and garlic yoghurt. Hats off to the hare for not poisoning us (this time). \nIn true Rehash spirit\, the banter was rough\, the circle rowdy\, and the beers cold. Well\, that’s what could have happened\, but our resident Saffa is………Eno. \nUpon arrival at the on on both runners and walkers were presented with …….a map. The promised tits on the run did eventuate……..sort of ………courtesy of a shopping mall billboard. \nIn the circle a generous combined score of -1.69 was awarded to the hare followed by some old bloke wearing a shopping bag on his head anointing our 23rd hashman……..Cum SOC and duly presented him with a biologically concerning Cum Sock necklace. \nIn a not surprising development\, it turns out all in attendance have now quit their jobs and set up Airtasker profiles.
