OUR STORY

The COVID Hash House Harriers emerged out of the first COVID lockdown on 30th March 2020. Hash diehards Ballbag (D & E, Melbourne 1980), BallPoint (Bandar Seri Begawan H3, BRUNEI 1993) and Y2KY Jelly (Peninsula H3, Melbourne 1998) decided to hash in the clean, virus-free wilderness of the Nerang State forest whilst everyone else was virtual ‘ZOOM’ hashing.

On 5th July 2021, the then GM  (Ballpoint) was ousted from the group, which was eventually rebranded as the Covid Rehash.   The group also expelled many draconian rules that were also brought in by the unpopular former GM.   All active members moved to this rebranded hash which has brought back a fun more casual Hash inspired experience with only 1 rule – no BallPoints.

The COVID Rehash is a trail running social club, and is open to all runners.   We meet mostly every Tuesday at 6.30pm at various locations around the Gold Coast.  Check below for the next run location.

We occasionally alternate runs with other activiies.
